two times out of three, it's me vs. the bong

and i'm trying not to spill it all over my pillow, but i cant help sitting in the dark and listening to things coming from the walls and the roof and sometimes from the garden because there are two dogs at this house. i'm not so sure if i am too lazy to turn on a television or a radio or a microwave, or if i am intentionally removing myself from some kind of dependence. i cant be quiet for very long.
